Football NFL Sunday Ticket

I dropped it last year for the first time in 6 years but I'm thinking of going back but I'm wondering if there are any special deals out there where I can get it for less than the advertised price? I want Superfan because I can't watch a football game that is not in HD.

Anyone have anything special they've found or what I should say when I call Directv?

If you're already a DTV subscriber, you can't get their best deal where they basically give you the rest of your service (monthly programming fees) for free for 5 months if you purchase NFLST. However, a lot of people have gotten great deals for it when they call to CANCEL it from their accounts. See this thread for details:

The trick is that you have to call to CANCEL or you won't get to the right people, so you can't just call them up and ask them to add it to your account at the lower price. In my case, I was able to get SuperFan for free by adding NFLST online, then calling them to cancel because "I thought HD would be included at that price." I might've been able to push the issue further, but I decided not to since I'm still getting a lot of good deals with my new subscriber incentives.

After reading this thread I called DTV to cancel my NFL ticket and they gave me the same deal. $60 off and Superfan for free.
