my first FF draft of the year....

weird league, start 4 WR, 2 TE, 2 K, and 2 D. Plus two flex starters, one WR/RB and one QB/RB/WR/TE. It's also a 10 team league.

Lots of scoring increases too, points for completions and lose points for in-completes too. Stuff like that.

Anyway, first time playing with these guys, or drafting with them, so I didn't really have a good game plan going in (especially with the layout different than I'm used to). One guy drafted T. Owens, in like the 5th round. But not all the players drafted funky like that.

Anyway, grade my draft. Lets hear how much my team sucks and where I did bad according to you "experts".....

Round Pick Player Position
1. (8) Aaron Rodgers QB
2. (13) Maurice Jones-Drew RB
3. (28) Vincent Jackson WR
4. (33) Greg Jennings WR
5. (48) Felix Jones RB
6. (53) Brandon Marshall WR
7. (68) Mike Tolbert RB
8. (73) Ryan Mathews RB
9. (88) Kellen Winslow TE
10. (93) Marshawn Lynch RB
11. (108) Michael Crabtree WR
12. (113) Joseph Addai RB
13. (128) Detroit DEF
14. (133) Lee Evans WR
15. (148) Alex Henery K
16. (153) Billy Cundiff K
17. (168) Kansas City DEF
18. (173) Heath Miller TE
19. (188) Colt McCoy QB
20. (193) Marion Barber RB
21. (208) Jason Hanson K
22. (213) Houston DEF
23. (228) Jacob Tamme TE
24. (233) Jonathan Baldwin

only homer pick I really made was KC D, Like I said, I had to draft three, two starters and one bench, D was starting to go so I had little left to pick. Baldwin was the third to last pick of entire draft, so I didn't count that as a homer pick.

I also want to say I got screwed on 7-8 IIRC, computer/internet problem and got the auto draft to take SD other RB. That wasn't my plan.

Uh...that league appears to suck.

Sorry.

QB should be solid, especially considering the completions rules. Your RBs are awful. Most of them are injury prone. WRs aren't much better, but serviceable. Rogers-Jennings might be nice. Very strange setup, but for a 10 team league, I'd expect to see more talent. Hard to say much without seeing the other teams though..

I'd never join a league that starts 2 kickers. That's just absurd...

I agreed with some friends before knowing they did it this way.

2 kickers, 2 D, 2 QBs, and the 2 Flex positions are all something I'm not used to.

I draft a more traditional one tonight with OTWP. 1st overall, not sure what I'll do yet, AP or CJ. Much more traditional scoring so really will probably be one of these two. Foster's hamstring has me scarred.

Re:

I think the first thing everyone will reply with is "depends on the scoring system". I think the value of RB's (in general this year) really drops off after top 4 or 5 but cant really say more unless I know more about you league and other keepers.
