There is a better way to get luck than tanking the season for it. We should try as hard as we can to win as many as we can. Do as well as we can with what we have, with the known fact that we lost our best players. What better way to go down than fighting and finding out what other hidden gems we may have on the existing team.

If Haley can figure out a way in the heat of battle with all this new pressure of the fans going completely south . That will prove more to me than being in the playoffs now with the given situation. What better way to find out if he is a good head coach? What better way to find out if Pioli is a good manager and see if he finds the right help and makes the rightmoves to help the team actually improve and be legitimate by the end of the year.

If we really want Luck as bad as you all are acting like, why not do it the right way.
Go after him in the draft. Whatever it takes. Blockbuster trade. If it's 3 1st round picks, so be it. If it's our entire draft next year, so be it. If you are willing to tank the year for him, why not. It's a much more respectable way to go about things. I would not be ashamed of that. I am ashamed of the way many fans are going about this.

The way things are going right now, I do kinda wish they would make the QB switch sooner rather than later. I would like to see Stanzi get the chance, but we are not at
the practices and it just may be that the people in the know think Palko is better. If they
do make changes, and I think they may, then they are serious about going for serious improvement.

Maybe there is one good thing about the suck for luck thing. I think it may very well, with the publicity it has gotten, I think it very well may have opened their eyes.

I want to see the Chiefs stay classy, including the fans.

If we go 0-16 or even 2-14 all while trying to win and THEN we get Luck then I'm cool with that. But asking our team to lay down and die for this guy when another just like him will come along in a couple of years maybe even less is ****ing ridculous.

THey're just avoiding the pain of loosing now. Only to have it be more painful latter when Luck isn't a Chief in May of 2012.

I think you all need to accept the fact that this is probably the shittiest Chiefs team ever fielded, already decimated by key, insurmountable injuries, playing a brutal schedule that would have done them in anyway.

They're going to suck epic ass regardless of whether we want them to or not.

People wanting luck,want him for a reason, we have not gone after a potential franchise qb in decades. Nope, retreads is what some of you want.

Some fans want playoff victories and a shot at a superbowl in the future, if sucking while some of our stars are hurt to get him does it, then you root for losing games for the future.

It has happened to lots of teams drafting franchise qbs. Or we can go the harder route and luck into brady, that happens all the time in your world.

What would you rather have the next five years in our situation.

Suck, get luck and everyone else back and maybe compete?

Squeek out 3-5 wins, have cassel or some other average qb while the rest of the team gets older.

This season is NOT going to be salvaged and I'd rather keep our future 1st round draft picks all things considered. 8-8 is the same as 0-16. Hell, at least 0-16 will be a change of pace.
