Was winning this game worth completely blowing any shot at a QB?

We are officially out of the running for any of the quarterbacks this year, barring an unforseen trade that is highly unlikely.

Enjoyable win, but as 'Hamas' would say, "pyrrhic."

Its all points to bad officiating.

Hali "sells" the constant screaming of holding because he always flails his arm around. We don't have the same officiating crew every week. It's consistently not called holding.

Bad officiating is one thing. Bought officiating is another thing entirely.

I am good with it mediocrity walked away in the win column today.

With Orton QB isn't our weakness. Maybe QB depth but now we could fill more holes. It's a good thing.

He moved the ball masterfully up and down the field, but when it came to punching it in the end zone, we did it only once. GB plays a bend but don't break defense. They allow teams to move the ball up and down the field, but shut them down in the red zone. They did that to us today. This win was on the defense without question.

I'm sorry dude, but this guy has had 3 kinds of hell raining down on him since Tebow got into Denver with all of then Donkey fans wanting rid of him and he just just took a huge stride today in winning over chiefs fans, me included.

The Chiefs shut themselves out with dropped TD passes and penalties.

Proven player? Have you watched Orton? He has as many terrible games as he does great. He is much better than Cassel, but why is that what we compare QBs to?

Everybody is willing to give up time seeing how average QBs do but aren't willing to give up time seeing what a young QB can do. You need a QB that can win you 3 or 4 games in a row to win a SB.

Saying we shouldn't draft a QB because of one game is way too much of an overeaction. Especially if you have ever watched Orton play before.

Well with the last two quarterbacks we've had the defense doesn't win today. So credit to Orton for letting our defense win today.

Orton today played average just as he has played his whole career.

He played exactly like I expected him to play, nothing better. But for some reason, some Chiefs fans thought he would play as shitty as Cassel has played for us this year.

If this team doesn't draft a top QB prospect this year, there will be many more years of mediocrity, mark my words.

Orton is far far from the QB who can lead this franchise to a Superbowl.

Thats competely fair. BUT if we are trying to win a SB, we need to STOP comparing our next QB to Cassel and Palko. That is a good way to get a slight upgrade and nothing more.

LOL at Chiefs fans saying Orton moved the ball masterfully today. You know this franchise has had absolutely terrible QB play lately when you hear that.
