Upgrading my phone. Cheap ATT phone to LG G2. Advice?

I've read a lot of bad reviews on the Fire phone but i love it. I have no idea what some of those people were complaining about.

The only issue i've had with it thus far is that it doesn't play well with Google Play.

The main complaints i saw about the Fire phone was bad battery life and a lack of Apps.
