If that's all you're going to do with him, you're better served spending that 1st rounder (top 10, IIRC) on an OT or DE and building the team AROUND the game manager quarterback.

Maybe not if you're trying to win a championship, but I'm not convinced Bill is. I think he's just looking to stack some regular season wins, get his record and go home.

The best way to do that is to get Cousins or Mayfield and use your 1st rounder to either protect him or rebuild a defense that was in absolute shambles as recently as 2022.
