As I watched the past two weeks, I thought the Chiefs had finally discovered the offensive balance that would make them a good football team. I expected to see more today - at least a continuation of the experiment to see if Tony Richardson could be a featured back. Then they come out slinging the ball like hash again - and getting the same results we'd seen before Carolina and Denver. That's just poor offensive planning and execution. Shame on the offensive coordinator for reverting to such foolishness. And shame on the head coach for allowing it to continue. If Gunther is to stay on - and up until today, I was for that - then major changes have to be made with the major coordinators. I thought maybe he could get what he needed by replacing defense and special teams. Now I don't see how he can survive without replacing all three. This could have been a good way to end the season and head into next year. Instead, the players will have exactly the same taste in their mouths as they did at the end of last year. And a sh*t sandwich doesn't taste very good or make you want to come back for more. Today was a dirty, rotten shame.
