This really makes me mad...

From Houston Texans Site:

"The NFL awarded Super Bowl XXXVIII to Reliant Stadium. Houston will host the world's biggest sports showcase on February 1, 2004"

They haven't even got the stadium built and already they get the superbowl. I don't want to start the rolling roof debate up or anything but i think we deserve a superbowl. It is sad the NFL is so narrow minded and greedy and because of it several great football towns will never see a superbowl. (Kansas City, Green Bay come to mind) Why, because there aren't enough luxury boxes for fatass buisness execs and whiny movie stars, who probably don't even like football, to sit in. And then there is the fact that there might be some cold weather or heaven forbid snow. Football in the cold and snow, oh my God, it would ruin the sport, the players might get cold or something. It seems to me one of the best championship games ever was played in cold weather. But no one will go to the superbowl if they have to wear a coat. Wake up Tags Kansas City and the NFL's classiest owner need a superbowl in Arrowhead. If arizona can have it where it is 120 in the shade in a COLLEGE stadium or Houston where the stadium is still in CONSTRUCTION why not us?
