Hey, I found an old antique quart milk bottle.........
We were cleaning out my mother in law's shed, she has moved out and I get to clean up and haul off the junk, etc.
I found an old antique quart milk jug, it's glass and was made in 01/11/14..... Not sure who the maker was, it has an opening for a big cork on the neck. It's the kind that you got from the milkman and after using them up, he picked up the empty bottle and had them cleaned and refilled. The markings on it are ..... REGISTERED SEALED 1-11-14 mTc ONE QUART LIQUID 1 MINE (within a triangle ) B 7 under the 1 quart .....It's all written at the bottom of the jug, no other markings of any kind but at the bottom it has a 7 3 47 the numbers are spaced across the bottle in a 3 corner triangle, Leaving the top open, It doesn't appear to be an added date with the numbers spaced so far apart. Any bottle experts on here ? Anybody know where I can find some info about it or where to start searching ? Last edited by ROYC75; 08-02-2006 at 08:07 PM.. |
