He at least has problems figuring football scores. These scores aren't impossible but someone who "knows" football ought to have a better feel for the likely scores.

Houston Texans (2-1) at Atlanta Falcons (0-3)

Falcons want the Michael Vick nightmare to recede into the memory banks in Atlanta. Not so fast. Former Vick protege Matt Schaub comes to town and puts three touchdown passes on the board, opening the scab again.

Where are the Texans going to get 5 points? 3 TD's means 21, are they going to get a safety and a FG too?

St. Louis Rams (0-3) at Dallas Cowboys (3-0)

Many amazing things about this young season. The fact that Marc Bulger has two touchdown passes in his first 109 passes is very high on that list.

The Cowboys are going to get 3 TDs and 3 FGs? Seems less than likely, why not put 31 that's 4 TDs and a FG. That seems a bit more likely.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) at Carolina Panthers (2-1)

I love it when great pass-rushers who have no sacks through three games -- Julius Peppers, in this case -- say sacks are overrated and come in bunches and it's all about pressure. When great pass-rushers make gazillions because they lead the league in sacks, I never hear them demean the importance of sacks, do you?

19 points means either 2 TDs, a safety and a FG or 1 TD and 4 FGs. Not impossible but unlikely.

Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) at San Diego Chargers (1-2)

Two things I'm fairly sure of as a seasoned NFL observer: LaDainian Tomlinson is not washed up, number one. (Breaking news! King says Tomlinson will rise from the dead!) Two: The Kansas City win last week portends nothing for the future except that the Chiefs won't go winless.

Another one that makes you wonder if PK knows how to count. 4 TDs means 28, where is the other 5 pts going to come from? Or does he really think they'll score 3 TDs and 4 FGs?

Why predict scores that seem very unlikely? He could have rounded them to fit the way football is really scored and the predictions wouldn't seem as stupid (at least not because of the final scores).
