Grinders Roadhouse

This is very close to where I work, so I imagine I'll be dropping some coin there. Couldn't ask for a better guy to revitalize that iconic property.

Grinders plans Lenexa location

The sculptor known as Stretch – who has the nationally featured Grinders and Grinders West in the East Crossroads – is planning a Lenexa location.

Grinders Roadhouse would open in the former Kieltyka’s Stonewall Inn, 10240 Pflumm Road. The restaurant closed earlier this year after more than 30 years of operations.

Plans for Grinders Roadhouse are still in the initial phases but Stretch said he has control of the landmark property - homey white buildings with red roofs at the corner of 103rd Street and Pflumm.

If all goes as planned, Grinders Roadhouse could open in about six months. It would have more than 60 employees and feature a menu similar to Grinders with live music.
