Save Our Chiefs is the Animal Farm
For SOC is now George Orwell's Animal Farm. SOC were fellow animals on the farm, the truest of the swine among us, all of us being lorded over unjustly by men who cared for us only as means to a profitable end. Slowly but surely, led by these bold renegades, we came to our senses, understanding that not only did the men not have our best interests at heart, the decisions they made were in direct correlation to their own personal desires rather than the will of us, the collective, whom they clearly viewed as inferior. Thanks to SOC's leadership, we rose up. We fought. The SOC's pigs rallied us and together, we usurped our dictators. Freed of their tyranny, we were vowed a just system. Something with the right priorities lined up for the betterment of us all. A new way of conducting business. One that valued the right aspects of society -- or in this case, a football team. And our collective voices wrought immediate benefits as our franchise suddenly became one of the league's most promising. But then, as the image above proves, the pigs have no real interest in changing how things run. And we the animals, in our weak comprehension of the world around us, will forever be doomed to endure the repeating of history. In the end, the animals could no longer tell the difference between men and the pigs themselves. #2013=2009 |
