Depends on their celebrity. Some just do it to keep their name out there. Some trade out segments with other personalities. Others have regularly scheduled segments which are sponsored and paid a nominal fee. Kevin Harlan, for instance is paid to appear weekly. Danan Hughes makes a light fee for his time.

I'd imagine Mitch Holtus gets paid for his weekly segments, as well.
