Then maybe?
I'm looking forward to this film as well. The director has been fighting with the studio on length, as he's pushing for 3 hours, minimum. Unfortunately, I think he'll lose but I'm sure a Director's Cut will see the light of day. |

Supposedly, most of the $125 million dollar budget went to ILM in recreating the flood and all of the animals. I can't imagine it'll disappoint. |

He's such a great actor. He brings, for lack of a better word, humanity to his roles. As Maximus in Gladiator, his screen presence wasn't overwhelming and he wasn't "bigger than the film" but he was relatable. He brought a silent nobility to the character and I expect him to do the same as Noah.
Plus, it'll be fun to see all of the animals enter the ark as well as Methuselah. I know he was only briefly mentioned in the Old Testament but my Dad used to talk about him all the time when I was young, so it'll be neat to finally see him on film. On a side note, I'd love to see other Old Testament stories brought to life with $100 million+ dollar budgets. Regardless of religion or religiosity, they're great stories that everyone should know, IMO. |

New Testament, I know, but I Have always wondered why there was never a big budget adaptation of the book of Revelations. Could you imagine? Rise of the Antichrist. The 4 horsemen. War, Famine, Pestilence, Come and See: the pale horse whose rider was death, and Hell followed with him. Unleashing of Satan...........THE RETURN OF CHRIST. Daaaaaamn. Definitely on the ST: Last edited by beach tribe; 11-16-2013 at 09:23 PM.. |
