Help me identify cowboy boots
I was given these cowboy boots last weekend. I was told they are Ostrich, but they sure don't look like the other Ostrich boots that I've seen on the internet.
I was told they were hand made in Thailand. There is a "Tony Leather" tag on the inside of the boot which corroborates this. I was wondering if anyone here on CP might have an idea what these boots are made from? Thanks ahead of time. rel="Lightbox"?s=232b1dd036fde784e1686a53e4481808&attachmentid=105712&thumb=1&d=1384826718" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: IMAG0074.jpg Views: 466 Size: 97.0 KB ID: 105712" style="margin: 2px" /> |

My buddy has a pair and says they are much tougher than regular cowhide. They don't look brand new anymore, but they sure don't look 10 years old either. IIRC, he's had them re-soled 3-4 times and wears them to work everyday.
