We should see if Matt Cassel and RAC are available.
We'd only be so lucky to get scooter back too.

Naw man. It's all Alex Smiths fault. Haven't you read the Alex Smith Sucks thread? He dropped passes, he held, horse-collared and interfered with the opposing receivers, he taunted, he fumbled, he missed tackles, missed a FG, he let the opposing receivers get wide open, he pulled Charles AND he called all of the plays. He didn't ref very well either.
Now THAT is a bad day. Last edited by eDave; 12-22-2013 at 05:34 PM.. |

It's rightfully given. He's incredibly average. I know we can't have the best at every position nor is he the top of the list of this team's worst problems at the moment...but over the course of his career here he's been sadly unimpressive. Plus his leg sucks.
What would happen if we had the game on the line and needed a 55yd FG to win? We'd be ****ed in the ass simply because he doesn't have the leg to even get it that far. Even if he tried it would get blocked. He can't get it up that high and still get it there.

Yeah that's a very low % make of a kick, but there are many NFL kickers that CAN make that kick, and Succop isn't one of them. I just think in the NFL, you have to have an NFL leg. If you're going to have a Succop, then might as well bring in former MU's Jeff Wolfert. At least he's money from anywhere inside 50 yrds and he's currently available.
