The Chiefs will look to add another running back in free agency or the middle rounds of the draft because they believe Knile Davis won't be ready for the start of the season, according to a Chiefs source.

They should address this need via free agency. Much more depth @ RB this year in FA than in the draft.

I wouldn't be upset with taking Donald in the first round at this point.
Depending what we do in free agency that is. |

I saw Glenn Dorsey (who is basically the same size) get owned by LT's because he was short and his arms weren't long enought to compete. Most LT's have arms that are so long and that gives them advantage to get leverage over smaller defensive guys. Aside from that, I love the kid.

He doesn't have long arms, but he's got ungodly strength in his hands and arms. You could probably add a little to him, but he's about maxed out.
He would bring alot of versatility to the DL along with Poe. We need guys who can stop the run and rush the passer. Donald can. I'm all for getting a playmaker there. Be it a TE, WR, or a DL. |

I also think because of his size, he's gonna drop into the 2 round. I wish there were some way we could trade back a bit and pick up an extra 3 or 2 rounder.

Bring donald in as an interior pass rush specialist and line him up next to Poe in nickel packages. If he gets matched up 1 on 1 I will bet on him as the guy who will be capable of taking advantage of that match-up.

I agree.
Donald's size is problematic, but he doesn't really play to his size. |

Derek Carr with the first TD. Boyd with the first INT.

So the CBs have to play off in this game? No press coverage?
