Well, that'll do it. I was pulling for Latvia, but that would've been devastating for Canada.
Given the structure, and after watching today's games, I'll predict: G - USA S - Finland B - Sweden Sorry, Canada. You kind of looked like shit today. |

Not unreasonable. But how much was Canada playing poorly vs. Latvia's goalie playing out of his mind?

I feel like Ashley Wagner and Gracie Gold should 69 at some point. It would definitely renew my interest in figure skating.

Much closer than you'd like, but Canada dominated play in that game despite the score. They may have to be the first team to stop the US offense, though, as their forwards just aren't scoring to this point in the tournament.
Canada will probably go in as slight favorites in the SFs, but it's a 50/50 game for me. |

I wasn't so sure about Canada, but I think it'll be the best game of the tournament Friday, even if the US has clearly been the better team overall. The best 'oh by the way' of the day.... Yzerman drafted Gudļevskis (Latvia's goalie) last year for TB.

Tavares is done, torn MCL... Canada's down to like 10 centers now.

I'm weirdly not that worried about this game. I think the U S has really come together and is playing with tons of momentum.
