I mean you gotta think a guy like Andrew Jackson will singlehandedly destroy a team called the redskins..

Ok SF
The New Orleans Saints Draft: 27. Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama: While a questionable pick this early Kouandjo has the ability to be a pro bowl LT or RT. If his injury concerns turn out to be false he is a tremendous pick. 58. Trent Murphy, OLB/DE, Stanford: This is a potential double digit sack artist. Can play both DE or OLB and in Saints D he will be playing the 3-4 OLB he will team with Victor for a great one two punch. I like the potential of Murphy at the NFL level. 91. Yawin Smallwood, ILB, Connecticut: David Hawthorne has been a major disappointment from Seattle and hasn't lived up to the hype. Curtis Lofton is the powerfull ILB but in 3-4 you need a finess aggressive tackler Smallwood is this Player. This move makes saints stronger up the middle. 126. Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State: With the sudden departure of De La Puente I had to make this pick at this time. Larsen played at a smaller school but this guy has tremendous NFL talent. He is strong against the pass and against the run. 167. Kevin Norwood WR Alabama: With the loss of Lance Moore the Saints and Bree's needed a great possession receiver who can come up with the big catch. While Norwood doesn't have the great statistics as a receiver he always came up with the big catch for Bama. 169. Chris Davis, CB, Auburn: Being the Bama fan I am this pick killed me but I can't deny this kids speed and ability. He will start as a good nickle CB and then become an eventual starter the sky is the limit for this kid. 202. Chris Boswell, K, Rice: Let's see last great consistent kicker I remember for Saints was an older John Carney. Now Hartley was good during Super Bowl season but digressed after it . Then came the much traveled Shayne Graham has been a good kicker why not take a chance on a great kicker. Boswell has a great leg and is consistent and has NFL ability. The Cinncinati Bengals Select:
Isaiah Crowell RB Alabama State Although Bengals have two good possible great RBs in Green-Ellis and Benard they take a chance on the extremely talented Crowell. Crowell has first round talent who made a mistake at Georgia and was thrown off the team , but since then has had no further problems. He is the classic high risk big rewards late round gamble that Bengals usually take. |
