Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. At 52 years of age fitness seems to be constant soreness. It takes me to long to recover. Any advice on supplements to ease such suffering?

I've heard a lot of adds about testosterone but I figured I didn't need that but if it aids in recovery and soreness then I might want to rethink that.

Sore is good. Pain is bad. Work a different part of your body than you did the day before so you can give the part you worked the day before the time to heal.

I need a recipe for a faster recovery. Still yet at 52 I have the feeling that this is just going to be life from here on out.
