Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

I'm actually kind of looking for a decent set of fold downs and an Eotech combo for an AR but haven't found a killer deal yet.

I have a Yankee hill flip up sight/gas block along with a Palmetto rear flip up as by back-up sights. Palmetto puts the front/rear set on sale for $70 every once in a while. That is an awesome deal for quality irons. |

I had a good gun-related weekend.
Went to the KCI gun show on Saturday and sold a bunch of ammo. Now that I have some extra cash in my pocket, I've got the itch to buy another gun. Maybe an AK, AR15, another Mosin Nagant, SKS, M1 Garand.....who knows. Don't know how much longer I can resist. Also picked up my 1944 Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant. Didn't get a chance to shoot it, but she's a real beauty. |

Ya, this is the upper. I almost pulled the trigger on those Palmetto's the last time they put them on sale. I've got some cheap crap irons on it now and just want to find a good deal on something decent that will work well through an Eotech if I need them to.

Ya, I would go with the Palmetto's unless you need the spring loaded action that the expensive ones offer.
I like mine, and my father has a couple sets on a few of his AR's and likes them, too. |

PSA has posted some sick deals over the past several weeks. They have Bushmaster Carbon 15's for $499. I don't really need a Bushmaster, but at that price, its tempting to buy one or two. And they still have the VZ2008 for $399. |
