the thing is...Ned shouldn't use Davis as the 8th inning guy. He should use Davis as the flex guy in games we're winning. Up 1 in the 6th and your starter puts a guy on 1st and 3rd with an out? Bring in Davis to try and get that K and let him pitch 1.2 innings.

Guy on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs in the 7th up 1? Bring in Davis, let him continue to the 8th.

We have another guy who can pitch the 8th inning effectively in winnings games in Herrera...and if he gets in trouble and needs an out here and there when we've already used Davis...let Holland get a 4 or 5 out save occasionally.

It's ****ing baffling that Ned has the best bullpen in baseball at his disposal and he uses it the way he does.

we have a guy who has a 0.95 ERA with a 0.85 WHIP who is unhittable and we only use him when we're winning games in the 8th inning.
