lol.
yeah, every year or so, they completely do way more than is necessary. a good bottle of tequila as a gift, and I'm good to go. in fact, I've proposed a few times that in lieu of gifts, we just have a kick ass dinner, with great wine, cocktails, a post dinner cigar etc. but I think everyone likes getting presents lol. I'd be good with a bad ass meal with some exceptional bottles of wine that one/we would normally not spend $ on etc.

When my last grandmother passed a couple years ago, I got her cast iron stash, including a little 10-inch Griswold. That's by far my favorite. The quality is night and day different from what you buy today. |

If it's old, it may take some cleanup, but it'll be a better pan than you can get new, that's almost a foregone conclusion.

Found a couple OLD little 4-inch CI skillets from my grandma... they're in rough shape, but working on getting them re-seasoned.
Thinking if I get them all nice and pretty again, they'll make excellent egg skillets. |

Amazon has a cast iron wok for sale for 19.99 with Prime shipping...
I bought one and two of my friends had me order them one too, it's a pretty nice piece of cookware, easy to make good stir fry in it because it retains heat well. Mr. Bar-B-Q 06106X Cast-Iron Wok << search that on Amazon |
