And this was all created because many posters have rightfully labeled Tony Romo trash in the postseason.
Tom Brady has 3 Super Bowl rings and 5 AFC championship rings. Of those 3 Super Bowls, he was MVP for 2 of them. He's also a 2 time MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. Romo does not have one of these accomplishments. It's genuinely a HUGE disservice to your argument when you trot out the greatest QB of all time. |

Some key stats:
In these 8 playoff losses, they were favored in 6 of 8 (losing both underdog games to Peyton "choker" Manning). The Super Bowl loss in 2007 was a 13.5 point favorite. The Jets game was a 13 point favorite. The Ravens game was 8.5 (Flacco rookie year). These are major upsets. Like. You see once or twice a year upsets. Also, his 4.2 QBR and 8.7 QBR in the postseason are both lower than the ... GET THIS ... 11.8 QBR Tim Tebow put up against Tom Brady in their 10-45 defeat in that postseason. So think about Tim Tebow. Think about that 11.8 performance. And realize, in back to back years, in back to back games, Tom Brady lost heavily favored home game in the postseason to Mark Sanchez (4.2 QBR) and Joe Flacco (8.7 QBR). Those are individual losses. It's truly pathetic. |

No, this is absolute proof that this board, and the media, and everyone else has no idea what clutch QB play is.
Because many think Tom Brady is the clutchest QB ever. And it took me 15 minutes to disprove that. |

3 Super Bowl Rings.
5 AFC Championship Rings. 2 Super Bowl MVP's. compare that to: 18 hilarious gifs of Tony Romo ending the season for the Dallas Cowboys. GTFO |

I just gave everyone 10 straight seasons of postseason ineptitude but my football takes are horrible?
HE POSTED A 4.2 QBR @ HOME AGAINST MARK SANCHEZ. IN THE PLAYOFFS. If Peyton Manning or Tony Romo did that, the Internet would have ceased to exist. |

I agree. I'm glad that he isn't the Chiefs' quarterback. He sucks.

Joe Montana is the clutchest QB ever. Tom Brady is just the winningest.

Hootie has officially jumped the shark.
Next time in Hootie threads, we'll analyze the airtight evidence of Derek Jeter being the biggest choke-artist in MLB history. Tune in gents! |

while the board says Russell Wilson is slightly above average even though he is exactly what Tom Brady was to his team during their 3 Super Bowls in 4 years ...I won this thread before I even hit 'submit' |

Ha.
Fine. I was waiting the other day for the Pats homers on the board to analyze those last 10 years and then give me an explanation for what has happened. Since, clearly there is none, and clearly he has transformed into a postseason choker, I realize that I am right on this topic. Case closed. |

I somehow doubt the "Least Clutch QB in NFL History" is 18-8 in playoff games and has 5 AFCCG and 3 SBs. Hootie, you really need to take a dose of humility and own up to this non-sense. You did not win this thread in any way, shape or form.

Montana lost his share of big games too. Every QB does. It's just when you win "x amount" of big games, the media then forgets about all the other big games you lost.
