Jurassic Park may not have been as relevant as TMNT or Transformers, but kids love dinosaurs so it's an instant draw. Dinosaurs are always relevant with children, even when the movie has faded out of the spotlight.

Add in the fact that their strategy was to play homage to the original to attract GenX/Millennials and you have a recipe for success.

Jurassic Park is a perfect example of what Ghost Busters should've done.

I don't know if you remember, but the Ghostbusters movies weren't exactly aimed at children, but kids sure ate the shit up. Merchandise like crazy, back when they weren't so good at it. Then came a cartoon.

If you think there won't be a Lego game based on Ghostbusters, you're crazy.
