Pretty sad to say.. I doubt it. The next guy.. so long as he isn't another retread.. will be allowed every excuse.. which from my point of view would likely be fair (as it's consistent with my prior QB view).. but so obviously inconsistent from those unwilling to give all QBs the same courtesy.
For a young rookie QB? Absolutely, you're definitely right. That's totally fair.
