If the defense can both slow the scoring of the opposition AND create a TD or two out the deal, then it wouldn't be necessary for the offense to score outside of its normal paradigm.
Now that's a TALL order, especially against teams of the caliber that KC will be facing in the playoffs, but unless Andy Reid has more gadgetry stuffed in to his back pocket, that's pretty much how it's going to have to be.
What you can NOT do, is allow either of those teams to get on a roll at 10 or more points greater than you. If that happens, forget about it.
