They needed some help at WR, IMO.

Yeah, kinda weird. The Patriots looked to be deep at WR, but my guess is that BB is dissatisfied with some of hte speedsters on his roster (PK Sam can't stay healthy, and Bethel Johnson is a moron), so he got Davis as a KR guy and 4th or 5th wideout.
This move has confused us Pats fans, though. We're not sure what it really means.

Let me guess. He then immediately renegotiated a lower contract amount, saying that he wants to be a Patriot forever.

Pats are really reaching with their FA's Chad Brown, Monte Burns, now Davis. The kid always had skills but a terrible attitude-maybe he just needs a BB hug and a new start.
The experts still pick the Pats to win it all though. |

Reaching? Brown and Beisel didn't cost much and they traded Andre Davis for a 5th round pick. At this point, you'd have to be an idiot to question anything New England does, especially when it comes to low risk moves like the ones they make.

Davis had a decent first 2 seasons in CLE considering who was on that team. I think he had 11 TDs combined in his first 32 games... then only played in 7 games last year with over 400 yards and 2 TDs.
Nothing spectacular, but a nice weapon and he's young. I like the fit.
