I respect your enthusiasm Super Chief, but we are going to get beat up this coming week, I can barely stand to watch.

Any given Sunday... It applies to the lambs as well... Okay, so we lost to the raiders--we're going to have to tough that out, it ain't the first time in history that's happened. We aren't out of the running yet... We're going to have to get over yesterday and move on. It's going to be impossible to stop St. Louis, but we can slow them down... it just won't happen by playing zones and protecting our rookies instead of playing hard, tough and going after Warner. If Gunther does give Kurt a kick in the head, then all that means is that we have to out score 'em... Extremely possible as long as Jimmie Raye calls a good game... We're 3-3. Screw licking our own wounds... let's just shed a little of our own blood and go after the jugular of the sheep across the pasture... Here's to The Silence of the Rams... |

What will slow down the Rams?
1. Grass. 2. Crowd noise. 3. A defense that causes turnovers. 4. Their horrible defense (especially against the pass.....LET IT FLY JIMMY!) |

Well I hope you guys are right but I just don't see us having a chance against them. Their offense is overpowering. Oakland's is not and we couldn't stop them. How in the hell can we expect to stop the Rams?
"Extremely possible" to outscore the Rams? As you said, that's why they play the games, but let's not go over board. Possible yes, extremely possible, I don't think so. ------------------ Gary |

The Broncos, Seahawks and Chargers all scored 30+ points on the rams. The Broncos and the Seahawks both came within seven points of outscoring them. If Shottenheimer calls a game that is Guntheresque then our defense is better than that of those three teams. The Broncos are the only one on that list with a respectable offense. If you slow the rams down, it is Extremely possible to outscore them. ------------------ Now that the k-state tame kitties are out of the way... Hey nebraska: One, Two OU's comin' for you... |

We have a chance if only Kurt "Sqwish-i-pants" Schottenheimer doesn't play a zone D.

We have to BLITZ BLITZ BLITZ to get the TURNOVERS TURNOVERS TURNOVERS and then THROW THROW THROW.
If we throw caution to the wind, like the old days, on defense...and then open it up like they say we will...then the Chiefs will win this game. |
