Oh yeah. August rolls around, and I completely forget about baseball season. Sounds like an edge of your seat game. Gotta love those.

Im only 26 so i saw the lakers and the dodgers back in the 80's. my dad (who grew up on KC and was a big chief and KC Athletic fan) used to tell me all the stories about the chiefs. the great 60's, the not so great 70's and 80's and then i starting getting into them when DT arrived.
But cmon, 40 years sucks. I mean shit the ravens have one it, the bucs. i remember when the patriots were the laughing stock of the NFL. |

Only we lost. I did not watch, but heard about that in the ninth from a co-worker. Four straight home runs, off of 5 pitches? That is nuts. |

I listened to the entire game...well, actually dozed off and missed the first 2 of the 4 back to backers. Charley Steiner woke me up screaming at the top of his lungs. He did a great play by play.
L.A. Chieffan...I was at Dodgers Stadium for game 1 in 1988 when Gibson hit his famous home run against the A's. Quite the thrill. |
