I was at a Cards/Braves game in St. Louis years ago where BOTH starters threw no-hitters through 9. The Braves ended up winning in extra innings.

Hot, boring, and an awful ending. Plus I had to put up with my wife's crap (huge Braves fan) all the way back to Chicago.

I hate pitchers' duels.

My favorite game of all time was a pitchers duel.

Jack Morris was seen as one of the most dominant pitchers of the late 1980s. However, his most memorable game was Game 7 of the 1991 World Series with the Twins, in which he gave a marathon 10-inning shutout performance against the Atlanta Braves. That was in the late 80's or early 90's right? I remember that (I was just a small kid then... probably 8 or so). It was put on a baseball card "commeorating" (sp?) that.

No earlier than the late 90's, as I was there with the wife and we started dating in '97. I'm thinking '99 or '00, but I'm not sure. NOT a fond memory.
