Floridafan Starter Join Date: May 2003 Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Casino cash: $9846623	My son lives downtown Charlotte and my daughter lives on Lake Norman just north of the city. Charlotte is one of the nicest, cleanest cities I've ever been to. It is a great city, very young and alive. A lot of money in Charlotte with the banks. Southeast Charlotte is the nice area to look for a home. Depending on how old you are, you should like it a lot. I've actually considered leaving south Florida and moving there.
