Do a Queen Mary 2 (Cunard) cruise to the Caribbean. You can do it in that budget and get more days, and it's really, really nice.

Choose Aruba....they won't find the body if you need to dump it due to wedding ring induced character flaws.

I've been to both and they're equally great... really loved Costa Rica. I'd say go to the place where you can stay the longest (doing all-inclusive), do the most activities and stay within budget.

I thought it was normal to spend 3-4k on a honeymoon? I have this money saved so not a big deal, I was completely shocked at how much our photographer is costing us though, if you add the photographer + videographer its at $6300 but her dad is paying that shit!
absolutely no way we'll go to Mexico with the drug dealer beheadings, swing flu, and would want something more unique than Mexico. thanks for the lead on expedia, checking out the deals they have now & probably will give them a call tonight |

Fiance's two biggest demands are no cruises and no Mexico

Take her to the bunny ranch in Nevada and introduce a third party with all that extra money you'll save.
Actually I went to Costa Rica last summer on vacation and had a blast. For your honeymoon I would recommend tabacon resort near mount Arenal. It's a resort that has these hot springs that are heated by a volcano.
