The Best Show on Television... Entourage
This show fuggin Cracks me up. Maybe Im just sheltered because I dont watch TV much, but I started watching this show midway through season one, and freaking love it. Its about this young movie star and his brother, and two friends from New York, and his rise to stardom... Tonights show was at the Sundance Festival, where Vince's latest movie Queens Boulevard was a huge success... plus Turtle and Drama double-teamed this Peace Corps Chick and accidently "crossed swords". heh. funny shit. [Sorry Gochiefs, but they didnt show that part] Freaking Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven is fuggin unreal in this show. He makes it. Here is some cool extra footage. Anyway, if you have HBO on Demand, check it out... its great TV. http://www.hbo.com/entourage/ Last edited by teedubya; 06-26-2009 at 05:01 PM.. |

But this show, while not "high-brow", at one point showed insight into the Hollywood Machine that had virtually never been seen before. And now, we're relegated to "Celebrity Golf" and E's "big dilemma". It's weak. |

I rarely watch movies... so, I think I watch it for Piven hilarity... and tits and ass... and a chuckle. Especially since I watch such little TV... it is when I actually turn my brain off. So, yeah... |

E is supposed to be that guy? I don't think he is. I think that's kinda the point of his character development. He's not that guy yet.

I guess I'll just have to go back and re-watch the earlier seasons, then. It just doesn't seem very different to me.

If you're the agent to a Hollywood Superstar, you are that guy. And I'd say 100% of those people take full advantage of that fact, guy or girl. That's one of the things that's so unrealistic as of late. He can get tail like Sloan and Ashley, yet he isn't that guy? Gimme a break. |

I don't think Ashley is that hot. I've seen guys get girls just as hot that aren't total douchebags. Maybe that wouldn't happen in Cali, though.

The point of E has always been that he isn't that guy and he never will be.
Liked this week's show. You guys think too much. |

E has and always will be the bitch of the 4 guys. He's always tried to not be in vince's shadow, even though he is. he's always got offended at EVERYTHING. From season 1, up until now.
Vince, Drama and Turtle are always down to have fun. E has always had to be basically pushed into it. He's just a bitch character. There's nothing more to be said really. lol |

But, in a 20 minute episode, that scene represented about 1/5 of the episode. And what did it do? It did nothing. Quote:
Also, since most have voiced Ari as a reason to watch the show (which I normally agree with), can you explain to me why his character is utterly worthless right now? No more in office meetings. No more him trying to get things done. No more him being stressed and hitting the casinos or something with the boys. No more true Ari-Wife chats. No more epic rants. The Lloyd humor is borderline reeruned at this point - to the point that Rex Lee has to be like WTF am I doing.

I think that one thing is certain. This show was never The Best show on Television, at any point. It was damn good, but I can think of plenty that are better.
