GIF'D UP! 2010

It was one year ago that Bernard Pollard missed five tackles in one preseason game. Angered by his ineptness, I gif'd his ass up.

The gifs didn't lie. Pollard was exposed as a fraud, cut and banished from Kansas City. Emboldened by this great success, I created a massive a thread in which we exposed every fraud on the 2009 Kansas City Chiefs.

No one escaped the wrath of GIF'D UP. Every week, the ****ing axe came down with thunder. It was brutal, it was bloody, and it used up a ****ton of bandwidth.

GIF'D UP is back for 2010 and season two. We're going to expose every fraud on the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs. Let's get this show on the road. There are 20 weeks to the Super Bowl, Corey Mays, Jon McGraw, Ryan O'Failaghan and Rudy Niswanger are still Chiefs, and we need to send Mike Vrabel into early retirement.

LOCK AND LOAD!

In about an hour, we officially kick it off with the Atlanta review.

When Berry starts understanding what he sees before the snap of the ball and understanding how and where to be in coverages based on what he's seeing, he's going to be lights out good. And he WILL get that eventually.

But I have to remember that there were people on this board that called Dorsey a bust after 9 games into his rookie season. So whatever.....

This place is really silly in their assessment of rookies. Berry is a Fn Ball Hawk. As soon as he gets used to the speed of the game, and can just go out, and play without having think about assignments, he's going to be a nightmare. Wait, and watch.
He was given full responsibility in week 1. It takes a little while people, but if you guys are already calling this guy a bust, or a liability in coverage, you better make sure your crow plate is handy.
Dude, the guy likely will improve by leaps and bounds over time because he has the athletitsm and work ethic coupled with competitiveness, but to call him anything but a liability in coverage right now isn't looking at it realistically.

He isnt making mistakes in who to cover, he is getting beat by the guys he is covering one on one.

I am all for waiting. I, personally, didnt call Dorsey nor Jackson as busts. However, I did question them in certain areas. That is what I am doing with Berry. The issuse here is that some people will flame Dorsey or Jax but not touch Berry. Simply because they campagined for him. **** that.

There is no reason to flame any rookie.

Thats being generous.

I think the kid just needs the taste of blood in his mouth (needs to cause a turnover and hear the crowd react) and once he gets that and starts to play under a little more control, he will start to be the guy we drafted.

Seriously though, if anyone is calling him a bust, they should be "Shaun Smithd"
He's not a bust but certainly not worth the pick so far.

There aren't any crows left. Draftubators ate them all. I think he's going to be good but I'm afraid he's going to develop more like DJ and less like Ed Reed at this point.

Just because you thought he'd be great doesn't mean he will.

A lot of disgusting fail there, Mr. GoghChiefs.

But, you may be a little harsh in your critique of some of those guys featured in the horrifying septuple fail gif thing. After all (and even though it's impossible to see from that angle), a couple of those players probably had to give chase from all the way across the field and never really had a decent angle. Although it's true they didn't make the tackle, Belcher and Washington gave one heck of an effort.

By the way, Berry may have been the most over-hyped player ever to be drafted by the Chiefs of all times forever, but he needs to make that tackle.

More OL fail.

As an aside, our guard and center play has been outstanding this year. Night and day.
