GIF'D UP! 2010

It was one year ago that Bernard Pollard missed five tackles in one preseason game. Angered by his ineptness, I gif'd his ass up.

The gifs didn't lie. Pollard was exposed as a fraud, cut and banished from Kansas City. Emboldened by this great success, I created a massive a thread in which we exposed every fraud on the 2009 Kansas City Chiefs.

No one escaped the wrath of GIF'D UP. Every week, the ****ing axe came down with thunder. It was brutal, it was bloody, and it used up a ****ton of bandwidth.

GIF'D UP is back for 2010 and season two. We're going to expose every fraud on the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs. Let's get this show on the road. There are 20 weeks to the Super Bowl, Corey Mays, Jon McGraw, Ryan O'Failaghan and Rudy Niswanger are still Chiefs, and we need to send Mike Vrabel into early retirement.

LOCK AND LOAD!

In about an hour, we officially kick it off with the Atlanta review.

I made a DJ highlight reel after 08.

09 sucked, but he had a few clips.

If '10 produces more big plays I might be able to combine '09 and '10.

I was going to say the same thing.

You will get lynched for criticizing him. Because he needs time (the only one who needs it, apparently). Also, that was a schoolyard play.

Yep, it's clear that he's used to playing inferior talent. He was on him, but didn't see him stopping like that.

Well, the whole getting yanked AND pushed by the receiver didn't help his cause, either.

You're right about him not looking good on coverage.

But I still find it amazing how many rookies are expected to be so polished coming out of college. I'm seeing the same amount of criticism for McCluster and Arenas too. And Tyson Jackson, I thought, did a complete 180 based on his performance in game 1.

We have to remember these guys are still learning.

People generally expect too much from rookies, but you have to admit Berry's pass coverage has been disappointing.

Berry is such a great athelete and I believe he is pretty smart. With time I think his pass coverage will come around and he will be a more complete player. Just give the kid some time. 5 games isn't enough.

Guess what. Berry is going to be a super star. Bank on it.
This place is really silly in their assessment of rookies. Berry is a Fn Ball Hawk. As soon as he gets used to the speed of the game, and can just go out, and play without having think about assignments, he's going to be a nightmare. Wait, and watch.
He was given full responsibility in week 1. It takes a little while people, but if you guys are already calling this guy a bust, or a liability in coverage, you better make sure your crow plate is handy.

Well, I saw it in the game and you can see at the end of the gif his head turns the opposite way of the rest of his body. Its as the gif speeds up though so its hard to see if you aren't looking for it. DJ falls down, but his head and eyes tell the story of where his focus on the play was.
