Finally added a 360 to my gaming collection, been playing Bad Company 2 with some family online. Pretty good overall.....got my nephew the 360 Kinect Bundle, Kinect is pretty cool the little bit I've played it.

Got a question for you all - we just got an XBox, and I set up an XBox Live account with some goofy name that doubles as a "gamer tag". I had limited options as it had to be something that wasn't already taken.
Now this is also the name of my profile. Today we went through and built profiles for the rest of the family using just their real first names. But my profile still has the goofy name associated with it. Is this just pretty much the way it is since my profile is the one I used to set up the XBox Live account? Not really understanding the relationships between profiles, gamertags, etc. Since 90% of my gaming is just with my household family members, was thinking it would be nice if I could make it just be my own name. Not a huge deal if that isn't the way to go. I realize I could create a separate profile, but wanted to have all my stuff in one if I can. Thanks for any help. I tried googling for the answer and it was not fruitful. |

Thanks. I'm actually happy with it as a gamertag, so not wanting to pay to change that. Was just thinking that I might be able to keep my goofy name as the gamer tag, but have it on a profile name that would project my real first name locally.

I have some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket. Any 360 games out there that are must buys? I thought about picking up Arkham Asylum and even Madden '11 (I know, I know) for my football fix.
Suggestions? |

I got arkham asylum for xmas. Rented it but never beat it. Its a terrific game. Maddens always fun, especially this year when the chiefs are a dangerous team.

I didn't know I had any control of AR mode. I thought it just automatically kicked in when you took a lot of damage. Yeah, I do use the jetpack a lot though. I did finally get through that level and am into act 4 now

Wow!! you're missing out on some awesome OH SHIT **** action moments! On xbox, you hold left trigger and then tap "A" while moving L-stick in a direction - Of course you have to have some juice (suite can't be overheating). This will make the game 1000x's more fun and bad ass.

To be honest I don't really care for the slomo mode anyway. Takes me too long to get where I need to go. heh
It is kind of neat seeing the bullets whiz by you though.
