You don't pay for enough cable, apparently!

Sorry if I have better things to spend my money on other than 210 channels I don't ****ing need.

The system was fine the way it was. They should at least allow the local affiliates to carry their local teams.

I sure would like to know why a Chiefs game on ESPN can be picked up by KMBC or KTKA for the OTA and basic cable crowd but the tournament can't be done this way.

I can live with watching it online but I am betting they will have local blackout rules applied. Something else that needs to be changed.

Just sign up for one month or expanded basic cable. If you can't afford that I have to wonder how you were able to afford the TV to watch it on.

Who said I can't afford it? I shouldn't have to do that.

Certain expenses I just can't justify. It's not worth the extra $47 just to be able to watch 3-4 games.

Sports are evolving as is television service. If you don't want to be left behind you need to adapt. Besides mortgage, utilities, and food. Watching my favorite teams on TV is at the top of my budget.

That's what, a lunch for 2 at a Disney park?

I haven't paid for cable in a few years, but I'm thinking about going back next Fall so I can get NHL Network, CBS College Sports, etc. Even then, I might just get basic cable plus a sports package. I'm with you though, I dropped it because I didn't need to pay $60/month to watch ESPN/2 and a few other channels. I'm happy to pay $1 to buy a song and would love to see TV evolve in the same way. Until then, I'm happy to watch shows on Hulu and games on espn3 (since I have TWC/Road Runner), justin.tv or veetle.

What cable do you have where it costs $47 for TBS, TNT and TruTV? Takeitintheasscom?
