Question for people who wear contact lenses
What are the most comfortable lenses you've worn? Are there any particular type that are made for sleeping in? I love to watch tv as I fall asleep, but I have to take my lenses out before I go to bed, and I can't see crap.

I use Acuvue Oasys. I never sleep in them overnight, but they aren't bad for a nap if I use rewetting drops before and after. I put in a new pair about monthly, even though it's supposed to be every other week.

Anybody know what the BC and Dia is? I assume that is the size of them. I have my prescription from my eye doctor. They originally gave me a trial of the contacts and they fit just fine. I called my eye doctor and they won't tell me what size they were, say I have to come in again for another fitting appointment. I don't want to mess w/ that.

I just want to buy some off of 1800 contacts...but looks like they only have one size in "BC" and "DIA". Is there like pretty much one size fits all or is there a big difference in the size or whatever BC and DIA mean.

around 2000. I'm sure there are newer ones that you can sleep in, but I doubt an eye doctor would recommend keeping them in for half a year or more at a time.

I have a friend who hasn't taken his contacts out in at least a year. I mean, it takes 2 seconds to pop your contacts in and out, I wouldn't ever choose to sleep in them.

These cost a little more than the Oasis, but I've worn them for years and don't even know they are in. Tried the Oasis, and no comparison, felt like I had a quarter in my eye.

Do yourself a favor and take them out at night. Takes maybe 1 minute and your eyes will be so thankful.

And FWIW, 800 Contacts and the online places are no cheaper than my eye doc. AND if I screw up and run out my eye doc always gives me a sample pair to wear while I wait for mine to come in.

I have worn the acuvue oasys' and the acuvue 2's before. I am currently using Air Optics Aqua they are much more comfortable to me.
