Story coming down about Haley?

Rumor?

Allegedly, Haley was at a bar recently and stuck his unwanted hand up the skirt of a young lady who slapped him. Then he pulls the "do you know who I am?" out.

According to the witness, cops are called and Haley is cuffed.

Pertinent parties have been interviewed by media. Story forthcoming. Or not.

Is Todd Haley part of the right 53? <- that part is a joke and is being explained for people who will take the comment too seriously. All other information in OP is serious.

I didn't read the whole thing, but when did this supposedly happen? A few days ago, weeks, months? Not that I have any idea whatsoever if it happened, but if this occurred before this past weekend, then the odds are very unlikely, as it all would have leaked out by now.

The difference is that I posted it on a message board and I've clearly identified it as what it is. Rumor vs. story. I don't care about getting credit for this, frankly. I happened upon a witness to the alleged event. So what. I'm also not trying to play any sort of media credential guy. I haven't done any wannabe stuff with the Chiefs for years - several years. I'm a hobbyist writer. I've made zero effort to write this into any kind of formal article or press release. It's a rumor period. That's the point of message boards; rumors, conjecture, and armchair GMs.

I anticipated backlash for this. I understand and accept it. I hope it is false. But it sounded credible coming from the witness.

I would suggest that you're pretty naive with regard to the power of NFL Security. Those guys don't play around. Most of them are former CIA/FBI and they take care of stuff.
