The funny thing is Herm never really "ruined" the Jets. His last season they went through 15 QBs... Mangini took over with much of Herm's talent and went to the playoffs. Jets fans would throw a fit about that, but they hate everything.

IMO, Herm was a better head coach than Haley. He just got stuck with an old team here that didn't have a QB.

For everything that Cassel isn't, he is still light years ahead of what Herm had.

I know Green was better than Cassel, but he was at the end of his career and got hurt. And, the year that Herm had Green, even for half the season, he was in the playoffs.
