It's been widely reported that the Bears will put in a claim. Maybe it's smoke and mirrors, but I doubt it. I don't see a situation where Orton clears waivers. Denver played this smart and waited until 2 or 3 teams had QB injuries at the same time. They're going to get their money back.

Denver could have traded him before the season to the Dolphins. They would have gotten a pick and saved the whole salary.
