Welcome to the Not-So-Sweet Sixteen!

There will be two more rounds (since nobody seems to remember Elite 8 or whoever loses the championship game, we'll ignore those as well).

Four choices in Round Three to determine the Regional Champion, who will be rewarded, per Phobia, with a one week ban. One douche, one vote. Winner advances to the Final Four, and from the Final Four we will select our DOTY and present his douche ass with a month-long ban.

This place is banning people based on a popularity contest. It's not the way this place should be run. Alas, it's just an opinion of mine. I'm sure it's an isolated one as well.

The recent banning tear the mods have gone on has been ridiculous. I realize no one gives a shit about me, or what I think, etc. etc. etc. but it just saddens me that my favorite board has taken a step back the last year and a half...

but it's cool that we still have such a large base of fans from other teams that are regulars on this board because it's such a great board...because it truly is a really, really good board

I just think things are going too far with this banning stuff. Just my $0.02, and yes, I know Phil...no one cares.

The Final Four bans are for the elite douches... it's not about people who might take it a little too far every once in a while, it's for the people who have no intention of contributing anything positive to the board, ever. So far, it's r8ers, 50/50, and probably AutumnWind... not who I'd call clever, witty, or intelligent. Do you remember when billay started? He would have easily won a region (and maybe he did ), but over time he backed off and now actually contributes to the board... maybe a month off for these douches will do the same.

Well, it's never been run that way in 11+ years, and after the contest, we'll go at least another 50 weeks without it... and they aren't permanent.

This is precious, Hootie. You've been banned for six out of the last 12 months and you're somehow against banning douchbags and trolls. This is shocking to me. Completely shocking. I'm definitely going to consider your opinion because, rest assured, I rarely sleep nights without first asking myself, "What Would Hootie Do?"
