I can honestly say that when they drafted Hali.....that they had drafted a player who had already reached his ceiling. I thought he would be average opposite Allen....but he wasn't the type of DE that you could get 12-14 sacks a year as a LDE.

I damn sure didn't think that he would succeed as an OLB in a 3-4.

Yeah it did. He made some nice plays while running for his life. I agree with you on the wild thing tho. He has a ton of upside and a great skill set. We will just have to see. I guess my whole take is that as much as people (9ncluding myself) view him as a savior around here, I think he simply isn't ready and we arent gonna find out if he is this year unless there are some injuries. And right now, we shouldn't be rooting for injuries to the most NFL ready qb on the roster.

No it doesn't. Pioli signed Quinn, ergo Pioli would look like a buffoon if (or, rather, when) Quinn sucks.

You weren't alone. That was the overall attitude of CP, and i wasn't any different.

For Gochiefs to say otherwise is pretty comical. But then again, it's Gochiefs i'm talking about, so.....

Yes, but that wasn't because the game was too fast for him.

It was because the OL was complete dogshit.

In fact he did a great job escaping and making plays despite the speed of the game.

I honestly think this guy just sucks ass. Course he could be a guy who plays better during games, but that's me grasping at straws pretty much.

No one wanted Green or Hali cut or traded. That is a fact. There was some opinion floating around that Hali might be a backup, but no one was advocating he be dumped.

Yeah, he may just suck ass. We don't know. I think we will find out in the next three weeks however, that even if he doesn't, he still isn't ready to lead this team

Find proof, or STFU Frankie.

The most glowing praise I've given Cassel in the last two years is "he played OK in 2010, he has earned a reprieve from criticism."

Then he went out and flat stunk last season.

Due to that reason, I would enjoy a single source with actual reports and so forth. If you can handle that, that would be great.

Now, I'm late for an ass kicking 5hrs away.

If you have 30 mins to burn check out chiefs live on kcchiefs.com. they talk about what happened in camp and show some footage.

He would have to do the following for me to give him respect.

1. Throw for over 3500 yards.
2. Throw for more than 30 TDs.
3. Throw less than 12 INTs.
4. Winning record against playoff caliber teams.
5. Put together a couple of game winning drives.
6. Win a playoff game.
#'s 1, 2 & 3 are kinda bunk. If we ahve a good running game as I expect we will then I won't hang much on the above 3 numbers.

5. I think is something he has done just not enough of it. Just off hand I go back tot he Monday night Chargers game last year and though Rivers was in position to win the game, (blame defense there), Cassel drove us down and won it in OT. He just needs to do it more than 1-2 times a season.

#'s 4 & 6 are legit expectations.

First off 27 TD's - 10 Int's is better than okay but he did flop in the playoffs.

Secondly the entire team stunk for the first half of last year, not just Cassel. Injuries to key players on both sides of the ball didn't help but Haley did a shit job of getting this team ready. Yes, he still should have played better but let's not pretend he was the only one on the stink.

I don't care, he's the ****ing quarterback. If he's not playing well, we're not gonna win games.

After Green's first season there were tons of people that didn't want him. People thought Hali was overrated for where he was drafted after his 1st season.
