I'm talking about before the 34. I think his second year. And yes, there were frequent posts about discarding him as a bust.

I totally agree. I was gonna create one last night, but you know how that would have turned out.

There should be a thread just for camp reports/news. Arguments and poster analysis should be left to this one.

No one regarded him as a bust during his second season. It was almost identical to his first season from a production standpoint.

His third season, 08, when he moved to RDE, was a complete flop.

What a load of BS

Yes, I remember CLEARLY what CP thought of Hali. No one was excited about the pick when he was drafted, then he was labeled a marginal talent that wouldn't exceed a 7-8 sack season. Then after the 34 switch, we were told by the CP majority that he'd never make the switch to OLB.

But yeah, lets pretend that the majority here knew that Tamba would become what he is.

And as far as Green goes, at the time, a lot of people were still referring to him as TrINT.

He's saying that Quinn will expose Pioli as being a moron because he signed Quinn as competition for Cassel.

And when Cassel comes out and has a decent season, you'll be lip locked on his jock.

No, he did. He was running scout teams for our D. When he wasn't doing that, he was running with the threes. AND, that was after he missed OTAs and minicamps. What I'm saying is that with the disfunctional offensive system (Haley v. Muir), and lack of offseason, he might as well be a rook this year. He hasn't exactly had a lot of practice leading up to this Junes minicamps. I think the guy could be really good, but it is going to take some preseason snaps this year and another year of learing the playbook.

The speed of the game didn't appear too fast for him last preseason. Quite the opposite, in fact.

If he continues to be wild thing, maybe he just sucks.

What's a decent season?

What would it take for anyone to do a complete 180 and give Cassel respect?

He would have to do the following for me to give him respect.

1. Throw for over 3500 yards.
2. Throw for more than 30 TDs.
3. Throw less than 12 INTs.
4. Winning record against playoff caliber teams.
5. Put together a couple of game winning drives.
6. Win a playoff game.

Didn't do that during 2010, won't do it ever.

That's your understanding of his post. Here's the post:

"****ing LOL if Brady Quinn is our #2.

That sounds more (or at least also) like when Quinn gets a chance he will look better than Cassel and expose Pioli for his blind support of Cassel.

But I can see your point too.

WTF does CP ever use the term "Might". It's either he sucks or he's god.

We're not talking about anyone. We're talking about GoChiefs.
