Chiefs Chiefs' Player Jevon Belcher involved in murder-suicide, shoots self at Arrowhead - Page 121

An unnamed Kansas City Chiefs player has committed suicide at the team facility and authorities are on the scene, the police confirmed to ESPN on Saturday morning.

Local reports say police are operating with the belief the player fatally shot his girlfriend at a house before driving to Arrowhead Stadium and killing himself at around 8 a.m local time. The Associated Press reported the player's age to be 25.

"We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning," the Chiefs said in a statement. "We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation."

There were no other injuries at the team facility, police said.

The Chiefs (1-10) were preparing to host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The NFL has told the Panthers to travel as planned to Kansas City on Saturday, the Charlotte Observer has reported, citing interim general manager Brandon Beane.

Just because they dealt with it doesn't mean they liked it. Doesn't mean they weren't extremely inconvenienced.

Literature and HMc, two ****ing reeruns, have the whole media contract and 20 other issues with moving an NFL game all figured out.

Let the experts handle it and don't waste your time.

Oh, I think you would get your money back (in prevention of an unjust enrichment). But I don't there's specific performance [compel the game!] or damages that result from nonperformance.

You're the only one that claims to have it all figured out, Dane. You're the one claiming to have specific knowledge of the contracts.

The rest of us just think the NFL could have moved it if they wanted to. The evidence (that games have been moved before, and the articles that say the NFL spoke to the Chiefs yesterday about this very game) suggests that is true.

But because your self-worth is exclusively linked to being a big guy on Chiefsplanet, you won't drop it.

I haven't read the whole thread but has anyone brought up Charles in this ordeal? I have heard some rumors that he might have been part of the main issue that started the fight.

Just rumors and not from anyone that would be considered a credible source, but 2 different people did bring him up in conversations with me today.

Just curious if others have heard anything similar or if it has been talked about here.
