Grabbing a HC with an OC background, and an OC that has a strong system, would probably work well. That O needs to be completely overhauled. You guys have enough talent on D that I think a capable no-name DC would work.

Yeah you would think so. Reid as HC and Turner as OC? I know they are "retreads" but your franchise needs stability through a rebuild. Seems reasonable.

Yea i would love to go get a Jay Gruden or Arians but we need a vet coach. Turner as his OC would be great but Im not sure they match. That might be too much of a dream scenario

Andy Reid, Arizona Cardinals talk picking up steam

Only one day removed from "Black Monday", the Arizona Cardinals could be closing in on seismic coaching hire.

Multiple reports suggest that the Cardinals have zeroed in on Andy Reid as their next head coach and the wide expectation is that a deal will be completed. The Philadelphia Inquirer hears its already a "done deal" while ESPN says there is a "95% chance" that Reid will wind up as Cardinals coach, and could have the job by the end of the week.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Whisenhunt hasn't interviewed with the Cardinals yet.

KGME in Arizona reports that Cardinals president Michael Bidwill interviewed defensive coordinator Ray Horton on Tuesday, but Bidwill is focused on bringing Reid and former Browns GM Tom Heckert as a package deal to the desert. CBS confirmed Horton's interview, which would satisfy the NFL's Rooney Rule. None of the reports on Reid's potential hire above have been fully confirmed, but this much smoke usually means fire.

The Cardinals sound ready to build Eagles West in Arizona. Heckert worked under Reid in Philadelphia. Former Eagles assistants Pat Shurmur and Brad Childress could be candidates as offensive coordinator. Bidwill expressed a desire to salvage Kevin Kolb's career at his Monday press conference, although Reid has already traded Kolb away once. If Reid landed with the Cardinals, speculation would immediately start regarding whether he'd bring Michael Vick to Arizona.

That quarterback conversation is for another post and another day. At the speed the Cardinals are moving, that day may arrive very soon.
Can you imagine him coming here and bringing Vick with him. He'd draft another tackle to make sure he was protected and this place would lose it's collective mind...

I can't see him bringing Vick.

He benched Vick. He was a turnover machine.

Here's a break down of Reid's Offense:

As I recall Turner is more of an Air Coryell guy. They could be blended, but it would be an odd fit.
