Zusi threw out the first pitch for an MLB preseason game in Orlando the other day. The videos of him preparing for it and then doing it are pretty funny. Him and Chance and Benny were out there.

Watching the Norwich City/Everton game, and the announcers are really loving Kei. He's looked very strong in the air, and the fans have really taken to him (which is to be expected, of course)

If that goal happens in MLS then it is shocking defending in a Mickey Mouse league. **** Eurosnobs. Good for Kei.

But the sooner every mls fan gets over this instinctive need to be defensive, the better we'll all be. Especially for a league that has no problem loaning its best players and moving around their schedules at the whim of whatever "eurosnob" team will take enough money to come play their reserves. I wish a lot of them would spend less time complaining about soccer supporters not taking them seriously and more time complaining about the mls leadership not taking them seriously. |

The physicality of the MLS is much greater than the EPL, defenders are allowed to get away with Sooooo much more here than over there...

US soccer fans who look down on MLS deserve the failure the national team they love constantly gives them. OH BUT HEYZ MAN CITY FOR LYFE Aside from the fact that there is nothing untrue about my characterization of how like happenings are interpreted. Last edited by |Zach|; 02-24-2013 at 05:40 PM.. |

Blaming USMNT supporters for the national team not doing well? I think that's a bit of a logical leap. But the MLS inferiority complex gets old. You can support your local club while recognizing there are leagues around the world miles beyond where MLS is. Last edited by WoodDraw; 02-24-2013 at 08:49 PM.. Reason: spelling |

I tend to agree with Zack..
I have begun taking it upon myself to educate the soccer fans I know who still think the MLS is a pub league. Guys like Holden, Espinoza, Kei, Cameron, Beckham (still performing at high level in europe), etc. are squashing that stigma. We have to be vigilant, my friends. Domestic soccer fans should know about the quality of our league |
