Who do you see as a solution in the slot?
Any ideas?
I was surprised by how athletic Ryan Swope tested at the combine. What round do you see Swope getting picked? http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/...ope?id=2539323 I don't know if he is the answer, but I'm not satisfied with McCluster there. |

Well, Reid is.
That's probably the end of the story for this year.

As far as 2013 is concerned, it's McCluster. Reid's high on McCluster.
We also have Devon Wylie, but I don't know what that's worth at this point. |

We need to worry about outside receivers, anyway.
It's harder to play that outside, and much much easier to play in the slot. We need to stock up on the options on the outside. |

do you draft a slot guy? I don't think so. They are usually relegated.

The NFL uses 3 and 4 WR sets now more than ever. Z/Slot receivers are positions of increasing desire. You need to have a quality slot guy to succeed typically. Boldin hates the fact you referred to his best alignment as an offensive player as one that is "relegated". |

They already did in Wylie but that was the old regime so I don't know if he fits anymore. That's what sucks about not getting that right. Player turnover=wasted draft picks=years of losing.

Devon Wylie looked solid last season. Just keep him and make him our slot receiver.
