La Canfora: Jaguars, Bills, Raiders interested in Seahawks backup QB Matt Flynn
Jaguars, Bills, Raiders in mix for Seahawks backup QB Matt Flynn
Several NFL sources have identified Jacksonville as the most likely destination for Seattle backup quarterback Matt Flynn, and the Jaguars are among the teams to talk to the Seahawks about a deal. Buffalo and Oakland are also in the mix, and though things have progressed slowly, sources said a trade could materialize before the draft. Flynn was signed to a lucrative free-agent deal in Seattle a year ago but barely played last season while Russell Wilson emerged as a rookie sensation. The Seahawks have not hidden their desire to find value for Flynn and give him the opportunity to play elsewhere. Jags coach Gus Bradley knows Flynn from his time as Seattle's defensive coordinator. The Jags are looking for someone to push starter Blaine Gabbert, who has looked like a first-round bust to this point, and though they have veteran Chad Henne on the roster, the Jags are exploring other options, sources said. The Jags have abundant cap space. All three of these teams could end up drafting a quarterback high next month, but they do have at least some interest in making a deal. The Seahawks might not be able to get more than a fourth- or fifth-round pick for Flynn, but after parting with a bounty in a trade for receiver Percy Harvin, they would obviously like to replenish some. However, the team won't give Flynn away as it prepares for what it hopes is a Super Bowl season. The Raiders still could part ways with starter Carson Palmer, and, as I have long reported, will not pay him his scheduled $13 million for 2013. The Bills recently released former starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. Contact between the teams is expected to continue. The market for available free-agent quarterbacks has largely dried up, with Jason Campbell, Kevin Kolb and Tyler Thigpen (whose athleticism leads some to believe he could be a fit for the Seahawks if/when they deal Flynn) among those still out there, but to this point the Bills, Raiders and Jaguars have not moved for any of them. |

I started at the last page and read the entire thread from end to finish.
Pretty entertaining. Probably a 7.5/10. |

Before I go ahead and scour the internet, I'm going to be a lazy **** and ask if anyone knows of a live stream or channel that will be broadcasting Barkley's pro day. I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow and USC's pro day sounds like an excellent way to waste a morning + afternoon.

All I can say is that if he doesn't a shit himself, a 6'3, 227 pound QB that put up impressive numbers in a true NFL offense will likely find himself in the top half of the first round. I LOVED Barkley in 2011. It's a shame for him that he didn't make himself draft eligible in 2012. |

According to a article on NFL.com the Chiefs are very serious about Geno Smith. They are bring Smith and Millner to Kansas City for a workout.
**** yea. Guys there is still hope. And the article said there bringing Smith and Millner both to Kansas City. So yes that means everybody on the Chiefs staff will be there. Also said the Chiefs are fascinated by Smith and said the Chiefs are deep into evaluating him. That means they are SERIOUSLY considering drafting him. |

When they bring players in that means they are considering drafting you and when they actually bring to to Arrowhead to workout they are very serious. That means every staff member will be watching them.

Good lord kid. You realize guys like Rapoport and Shefter are hand fed these reports to put out just to help the team smokescreen right? If you seriously think the chiefs will draft a QB with the first pick after trading for Alex and signing Daniels, to sit for a few years, you are god damn crazy.
